*These pants are not mine. They were in my drawer this morning, but I have no recollection of ever having them before. They are way too long and are a size large. Sure, they fit, but I would never purchase a size large because I am not a self-loathing woman. And yet, I wore them to Pilates and for the rest of the day because, well, why wouldn’t I?

I’ve been told I have a nice back. I fear that that’s the equivalent of being proud your delicate wrists or referring to the nape of your neck as the sexiest part about you. It’s nearly impossible to screw up and as such, it’s what you’re proud of if you don’t have a waist, legs or ass to brag about. Whatever, I’ll take it.

I love spring because you can wear red white and blue as much as you want without looking like an ensemble member of the Uncle Sam pageant. I do always wonder if we would pair these colors together so much if it weren’t our flag’s colors. Alternatively, do the italians always wear green, red and white together? Just a little food for thought on a rainy day.
